Frequently Asked Questions

  • What is the difference between the Elite and the Premium Terpenes?
The Elite and Premium terpenes differ primarily in how many refinement cycles they undergo, along with variations in their extraction and refinement processes. The Premium terpenes are excellent products suitable for a wide range of uses, but the Elite terpenes stand out as some of the highest-quality options on the market. The increased concentration of elite terpenes gives them enhanced potency. Additionally, they provide clearer distinctions between strains, with each one offering a distinct and individual profile.
  • How do you make formulations / what percentage should I use the terpenes?
Formulations typically range from 4% to 8% by weight, depending on individual preferences and product requirements. Ultra-refined, water-clear terpenes have a density between 0.79 and 0.89 g/mL. For example, mixing 1 mL of terpenes with 15 grams of oil results in approximately a 6% blend. On the other hand, combining the same amount of terpenes with 20 grams of oil yields about a 4% concentration. Using CBC at concentrations between 5% and 10% can help thin the mixture. As a minor cannabinoid, CBC offers virtually no scent or taste. It promotes a smoother and more uniform texture while maintaining flavor consistency when the oil is heated over a coil.
